I first discovered Wither City when venturing the nether roof on the negative, negative axis. A portal was discovered on the roof, directly on the axis. It is unknown why the portal was there, as it would be foolish to place on an axis. An excerpt from a sign on the way to the portal by EmperorSimple himself sheds light into why why this may be the case.

"Emperor Simple 03/24/22: This is day 2 of my voyage after the beloeved Nether Knights Home Base and Wither City were leaked; forcing most players to...".

The signs finish there; but this shows that Wither City coords were leaked before I discovered them. Perhaps this is why the portal was there, placed by another player who gained the coords. The city itself was significant enough for a build; Certainly not a mega base as it didnt have any valuable resources, but still large enough to appreciate the work put into the construction. Certain artefacts were taken for archives such as an Imperium banner.

The site was then left alone from April 2023 until June, when Cdawg inquired about the base. At the time, I did not know of EmperorSimple's tendency to make enemies. Cdawg offered a payment of 5 netherite blocks in exchange for the coordinates, an offer I could not refuse. Negikun also payed 1 block for the coords in order to tag along with Cdawg. On the 20th of June 2023, Wither City was griefed by a joint group of mainly Radical Raiders, Blackers, and IRS consisting of namely Logical_Leo, Syndi, Cdawg, Grahvex, Glesias, ItsMossy, ilidrael, Boltzmannsbrain, and Yurd_Me.

And so, Wither City now lays in ruins due to the hatred that the owner had aquired amongst others. Although I am very usually against griefing, I was content with the outcome of Wither City.
